First of all what can we say , Valerie from the first day we started discussing our wedding to watching it all come together you have been the foundation to it all. You applied a great range of skills by your attention to detail, your incredible inter-personal skills and your excellent delivery ,especially to  listening to all our ideas ( and for sure we had alot 😉), we had plently of laughs along the way which made the planning and organising so much more fun. Your ability to capture our personal requests were like gold to us and this something we will never forget. Whenever we meet you we always said to each other that you have been the best ever wedding coordinator that we had the honor to work with and helped us create our most amazing day in our lives. Its been truly a dream come true and we enjoyed every minute.

To the G-Hotel & Staff – we have always loved coming to the g-hotel if it was for our late dinner, catch up with friends  and to having our wedding there was the “icing on the cake”, and we truly see you all as our family forever , a place that is pure joy, vibrance and happiness that brought our family and friends together, with spectacular food , with a beautiful ambiance and staff that are world class. You all helped us create our special wedding day.

The G hotel was the perfect place to have our wedding, we simply couldn’t recommend it enough! Valarie, our wedding coordinator, was incredibly attentive, easygoing, and professional, she was so helpful during the planning process and during the days prior to our wedding. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better team of professionals at the G hotel, who went above and beyond to make sure every aspect of our wedding day was covered. The food/drinks and service were excellent, along with the décor and general atmosphere. We would like to thank the staff at the G hotel for giving us an amazing day, and memories we will cherish for a lifetime.

I don’t know where to begin about our wedding in The G Hotel. We got married in July 2022. We had originally booked our wedding for July 2020 and had to postpone twice. Each time we postponed The G made is stress free and seamless, they never used it as an opportunity to up our price like many other hotels did, to quote them, “all they wanted was for us to get our special day” and we really did! We met Tania who looked after our wedding and she was just incredible from start to finish, no request was to big and she paid attention to every tiny little detail. No stone was left unturned and she just made us so relaxed and as a result we had the best day of our lives. Tania paid so much attention to our little details that even the day before the wedding she seen we had a Harry Potter sweat table, so made us a Harry Potter table lay out, that is just one example of the attention to detail you get at The G. We had our menu tasting and the food and service was spectacular and we hoped at our wedding it would be nearly as good, but it was the exact same, all the staff were amazing,.from the wait staff to the bar staff and Sinead in reservstions, all of our guests couldn’t get over how polite, friendly and accommodating they were. They staff at the G couldn’t do enough for us. They made us feel so special. The night before the wedding in a full restaurant the host came up to me, he knew who I was and told me he will be looking after my wedding tomorrow, it was just 5 star service from start to finish. We were so proud to have had our wedding in The G Hotel. We were told by Tania that it is up to us to book the wedding and up to the G to deliver and they certainly did that and more.

We got married at The g Hotel in July 2022 with a crowd of about 110 people, and it was absolutely perfect. Everything about the wedding, and even the preparation at the hotel in the months before, made us feel incredibly special and pampered – and we’re not generally the pampering type! When we originally chose The g, we were surprised to find the price to be similar to other hotels in Galway, yet the service was at a level way above anything else we’ve been to. Our wedding coordinator Tania took great care in looking after our every need during planning and on the day, and our meetings always felt very casual and personal – she was as excited as us about our plans! Tania made absolutely sure that we had time for just ourselves between the drinks reception and dinner, wrestling us away from our photographers! We had a particular requirement that needed to be handled sensitively by the hotel, and they were incredibly professional and attentive – every member of staff quietly looked after us. The food is incredible and really sets The g apart from all other venues. Maurice gave us very personal attention in choosing food and wine – the menu tasting was one of the best days of our lives, probably second only to the wedding! Our guests were really impressed by the food and drink, even down to the quality of the late night nibbles. We had the ceremony as well as the reception at the hotel and everything looked stunning – our photographers were delighted when we told them we’d chosen The g, and the photos look incredible. Aside from the suite in which we had the ceremony and the reception, and the Grand Salon in which we had the drinks reception, every lounge, bar, corner and even stairwell is incredibly photogenic. There was a real wow factor, and all our guests were really impressed with the venue – especially those that stayed at the hotel. We didn’t use any external decoration as the venue itself is so perfectly chic as it stands with the hotel’s own decorations personalised to our colour scheme. This in itself saves a lot of money and we’d recommend others do the same. The bridal suite is the most luxurious space we’ve ever stayed in and made us feel like royalty – they even added a few classy touches before we came up to bed that made the occasion extra special! Breakfast on the balcony was a wonderful way to start the following day before re-joining our guests. We just wish we could have another day and night to enjoy it!

What a wonderful day we had for our wedding at the G! The atmosphere is great here for a wedding, its elegant yet not too formal. The standard of the decor in the hotel is amazing, the function room is lovely and the bedrooms are beautifully finished with many guests thrilled with how nice their rooms were for the night. The food was great, for 150-160 people we were very happy with it! The room layout works very well for a wedding and enables people to stay involved and the bar location for the room again works really well, something that can be hard to tell until you see it all on the day! Tania and Inez were really professional and helpful and no detail was left out. Jimmy oversaw our table and lots of other details on the day and was also really helpful. The suite is out of this world! I would absolutely recommend having the G as a wedding venue, I’d go back and do it all again there tomorrow!

Myself and my fiancé had our very intimate reception (for 14 people!) in the G hotel on May 8th. From the very beginning, we received wonderful service from the G, with Tania (our wedding co-ordinator) being extremely welcoming, flexible and supportive. She and the team (including Inez on the day) created a wedding experience which felt luxurious and special but not overly-formal, which was exactly what we were hoping for! There were so many gorgeous and surprising extra touches on the day (even personalised gifts!), and we never felt that we were less important than a more conventionally sized wedding. We received a beautiful red-carpet welcome on arrival, and the drinks reception was very enjoyable. The reception room was beautifully decorated, and we were extremely happy with the quality of the food and the very attentive service from the team. All of the guests who stayed overnight commented on the elegant and spacious rooms, replete with amazingly comfortable beds! Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend the G hotel for a luxurious but relaxed wedding reception.

The G Hotel is the perfect wedding venue with the most amazing staff! We recently had our reception here. If anybody is looking for a luxurious wedding venue, in a stunning location, with exceptional food and top-class staff, then look no further.
